A local Arizona Fly Fisherman is taking the initiative to raise money for The Gila Chapter of Trout Unlimited. The Gila Chapter was started by the Payson Flycasters Club in February of this year to conserve and protect our local trout waters. I don’t know John (the rod builder) but I sure respect and appreciate what he is doing. The rod is a St. Croix SCIII 9′ 6Wt which he will be auctioning off later in the summer to raise money for Trout Unlimited. Anything we can do to raise attention to protecting our trout waters is a step in the right direction. Thanks John, and great work.
