Arizona Fly Fishing

Was able to hit one of my favorite creeks for a few hours on Saturday from noon to three in the afternoon. Fishing was slow but then I was there in the middle of a hot sunny day. I was able to entice two Browns from under a ledge on a size 18 Pheasant Tail. One ended up being a fairly decent sized fish. Ran into a couple other fisherman who were on there second day on the river they also reported very slow fly fishing with one fish between them so far. These wild fish can be so finicky, I personally think it has a lot to do with the full moon. It was probabley one of those days when I would have been better off looking for some stockers. However all in all a beautiful day and a couple of nice fish to show for it.Fly fishing in ArizonaArizona Fly Fishing
